Accessibility Lab
What survives when the text gets bigger?
Enlarge a small interface and watch which layout assumptions become visible.
Interface demonstration: this exercise demonstrates product behaviour; it is not intended to simulate a disability or another person's lived experience. These exercises compare how interfaces behave. They do not reproduce the experience of living with a disability, and no single demonstration can represent everyone’s experience. You can examine the interface using your usual input method or assistive technology without pretending to be someone else. Why is this not a disability simulation?

What happened?
Both examples contain the same information. The flexible layout allows space for the content to grow. The fixed-height layout assumes the content will remain at its original size, so larger text eventually clips or hides content.
The problem is the layout assumption, not large text.
Try it with your own settings
Browser zoom, narrow viewport reflow and system text sizing can expose related failures in real interfaces. Test those separately because they do not always produce the same result.
Go deeper — optional
Try browser zoom, narrow viewport reflow and system text sizing separately. They can expose different failures.

This Lab is one controlled example. Its result is evidence about this example, not proof that every related state or user experience has been covered.
